Public beta: Ultra Fractal for Apple Silicon Macs
This was posted by Frederik Slijkerman on the UF forum a couple of days ago. Some of you Mac owners may find it interesting and can possibly help by testing this beta: "Hi everyone, The last year I've been hard at work to update Ultra Fractal to run natively on the new Apple Silicon Macs. That was not an easy task because the internal formula compiler outputs JIT-compiled native code so it needed to be partially rewritten specially for the new ARM processors. I'm very happy to announce that it's ready for a public beta test now! If you own an Apple Silicon Mac, please download and try this version, and let me know (here or via email) about any problems." To get the download link for the beta and/or add to the discussion please visit the forum here: https://www.ultrafractal.com/forum/index.php?u=/topic/893/public-beta-ultra-fractal-for-apple-silicon-macs

Fractal art thief selling NFTs
Jan 24th update: The Opensea account referred to below, and several others, have now been closed down or are empty. All thanks to group efforts here on DA to publicise the perpetrators and artists reporting their stolen works. Good work people! First of all a thank you to Deviant Art for promptly discovering some of my works up for sale as NFTs on Opensea, all a bit of a joke as they still bear my watermark and DA URL on them. Like anybody would want to buy them in that condition! Anyway, the person in question has obviously been raiding fractal artwork from Deviant Art, they have minted and are auctioning off 338 works so far. I recognised a few works by aartika-fractal-art ChaosFissure and GrannyOgg. There are many other works up for sale, no doubt without the artists' knowledge or permission - unless you are a Core member you won't be alerted to older works appearing on these NFT sites. It is a very simple matter to report them, though, using the online form on the site. If
