A votive offering is an object (often a high status artifact) left in a sacred place for ritual purposes. Such items are a feature of modern and ancient societies and are generally made in order to gain favor with supernatural forces. Votive offerings have been described in historical Roman era and Greek sources, although similar acts continue into the present day, for example the modern day practice of tossing coins into a wishing well or fountain.

:pointr: Crafted in Ultra Fractal 5.04 using 35 layers. Full size view recommended, if you want to see the finer details.

:pointr: Images imported into Ultra Fractal for creative purposes come from my own resources. As some of these are not fractal in nature DA's Fractal Manipulations gallery seems the most suitable place for this.

Looks like items from a game I love! :D it's amazing, seems like you should be able to have this as a brooch to a cloak, or a belt buckle of sorts~ :D

Many people have wished my fractal jewels were real... and I agree that some of them would look fabulous as brooches or other items. :love:

Play the game, you'll see what I mean. Number two, more specifically than number one...of Dream Chronicles, I mean ^^;

And not a problem~! I'm a bit of a favewhore -~-;; I set out like ten+ tabs of amazing art to drool and cry over (cuz I'm nowhere near that good) and just fave them all XD
