It just goes to show how much input the artist brings to a piece and that fractal art is not just something "churned out by a computer" as some ignorant people seem to think. The artist will bring his/her personal taste, vision and even gender to the drawing board!
While the shapes, textures and patterns are as good as always, it's the jewels themselves that really stand out for me with their wonderful lines and shading. The jewels' colors especially are perfect for the title: the blue-greens of the tropical sea and the pinks and golds of sunrise/sunset and of luscious fruits. The gold is like sandy beaches and the background reminds me of banana leaves and palm fronds and the moon on a tropical night.
