Ultra Fractal 5.02.

A personal reflection and concept piece on how the Pound in our pockets is suffering in the current recession and an economy that is generally going down the tubes.

This deviation uses an imported image of a UK Pound coin which has been treated to a lot of physical abuse within UF to distort, batter, tear, dent and generally wreck it. My apologies to Her Majesty for distorting her features but it was a necessary consequence of the work. ;)

All effects were achieved using image traps and multiple transformations within UF except for the small addition of a sig afterwards.

Wow, great idea, very appropriate for our times :) (contemporary?) Anyhow, i think you've done fantasticaly with the colours also, the purple-green background works well with the coins :heart:

this is really well done, Chris... I love the colors you've chosen to really show of the ';pound'. I didn't realize Britain had a pound coin! We have a dollar coin here in Canada as well as a 2 dollar coin.

The dollar has a picture of a Loon bird on it, hence it has the nick-name.... Loonie! And the 2 dollar coin is affectionally called.... the Two-nie! :D
