:bug: This is 99.8% raw fractal - does not use imported images - design crafted entirely by me, by hand, with Ultra Fractal 5.04. 73 layers in all.
Minor post-production tweaks: tonal balance, sharpening, a light overall canvas texturing, addition of sig & watermark.

:bug: Time for a bit of fun! This is a re-imagining of an earlier ladybird fractal that I made almost four years ago. [link]
I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it. :D

Thank you in advance if you fave this deviation! :rose:

This is so cute! I love the original but this one is so much better just because I like the flow of it. My eye is naturally drawn along the curving branch in the middle. This artwork reminds me of the summertime when I look out my window and just see a bunch of ladybugs crawling around the window screen. The contrast between the brown and bright pops of red is really pleasing to the eye. :squee:

:bug: Thanks for stopping by to take a closer look and leave such a thoughtful and detailed comment. I like this one better too but then there is almost four years between the two - the further development of my skills & techniques together with the introduction of a different way of making fractal art with my preferred program made quite a difference I think. :D

No problem; since you were thoughtful enough to join my group and share your artwork with me, the very least I can do is be respectful enough to comment on it. :thanks:

Yes, you definitely do have a unique style, and I can't wait to see more of your work!

Now this is a real exploit. Finding all the right shapes is fantastic. It's real fun. :D I like the leaves which are rather like ivy. perhaps that was your intention.

Is the title a reference to the police force?

:bug: Yes, it's a lot of fun, I enjoyed doing this one! :D

 The title is a play on words and your assumption is correct.
