Ultra Fractal 4.04 plus a little post processing to sharpen, add stitch lines and sig.

This my entry for the April Challenge on Ultra Fractal. One of the three challenge themes was "Log Cabin" which immediately put me in mind of that traditional quilt block pattern. I have attempted to create different scraps of patterned fabrics, pieced together with lines of stitches and topped off with surface quilting, to give a padded, dimensional look. The brown and blue colours represent wood (the cabin) and the sky. I hope you like it! :)

The quilt block is what came to mind for me too. This is truly amazing. I love all the details including the color choices and the cute little mandelbrot center.

I love quilting and have made some log cabin quilts, but I had no idea this could be done in UF! Your color selections and fabric patterns are amazing! :) :thumbsup:
