Artist's Comments

Another whimsical fractal that will (hopefully) make you smile. I certainly had a ball creating these ladybirds and making them as realistic as possible.

I had at least 20 possible titles to choose from for this piece ~ I eventually picked "Insect Nation" because it was the only one that made me laugh out loud ~ this title is a nod to comedian Bill Bailey, who did a song about how insects will one day rise up and become our masters. :D

NB. This is not an imported image, by the way - everything you see here was painstakingly created by hand, entirely within Ultra Fractal 4.04 (except for the watermark/sig. which were added afterwards).
Mostly Trapestry (jam2.ucl) colouring.
