Created entirely within Ultra Fractal 4.04, except for the sig. Full size view recommended.

I was playing with Robert Bunney's new .ucl Superformula Shaped Gradients last night and this was just crying out to be made into an image of Earth from space so here it is... this is my home, and it's your home too... let's all take care of this very precious, beautiful and unique world that is our Fragile Earth.

Thanks, Mags. This was the one I was talking about when I said my .ucl experiments were rather different from your poppy! ;)

Thanks! I rather liked the effect too as, to me, it looks like weather systems developing. :)

Thank you very much. I can't help thinking that the main land mass resembles Africa a bit. :) Either way it's been interesting for me as I am now a bit more aware of how the geography of the Earth is uncannily fractal in nature ~ the fissures and cracks between land masses, large river deltas and the erosion of hills by rivers, not to mention spiralling clouds and weather systems!
