Ultra Fractal 5.02. Full size view recommended, for the details.
Another attempt at jewel making in UF. This one was rather more difficult than the simple orbs that I used in "Art of the Goldsmith" but eventually I worked out some (hopefully!) convincing highlights to give a glassy look to the jewels. Some of the textures are imported, I'm enjoying the extra challenges and creativity that this facility offers.
So here it is, an emerald and pearl fractal jewel creation, fit for an Empress! I hope you enjoy it... it took me forever to polish all those gems, you know.

Ooooh, beautiful. I don't know why, but this really seems to fit with my personality or something. I'm just... drawn to it, I guess. Don't know how to articulate it better (shame on me, I want to be a writer when I'm older). As it is, my favourite colour is green, I love emeralds; which symbolise pride and honour, I have an obsession with dragons (I was born in the year of the dragon...) and the gems seem to have scales inbedded in them, maybe that's just me though and last but not least, I appear to have developed an interest in Slytherin, which is green and silver. It says in the book that they have green curtains around their beds (or is that in FanFiction, I'm addicted to that... ), hence my like of the green cloth. All in all, I A-D-O-R-E this piece of art and also apologise for the highly lengthy comment. Faved!
Thanks for all the
