An entry in The-Heart Club's 'Deviant Hearts' Contest:
 [Link to contest details]"Deviant" means "differing from a norm or from the accepted standards of a society", and that is what this contest is about. This image, with its allusion to the Chastity Belt, is a reference to people who voluntarily choose to remain Chaste before marriage or who take a vow of Celibacy, for spiritual or personal reasons. Heart deviations on DA typically celebrate notions and acts of Love in all its forms but images expressing the concept of voluntary physical abstinence are, I think, uncommon. This is why I think this image qualifies as being "different from the norm on DA" . Created entirely within Ultra Fractal 4.04. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. To help support the Literature community we hold regular contests. It is an opportunity for you to get involved and gain some exposure.
