I agree with ~Arethea the colors chosen are great. Some how it kinda reminds me of blown glass figurines. Don't as me why but it might be the shapes that make me think that way.
The way you broke up the space with the "lines" of speres and spirals at varying sizes adds a lot of depth. It gives the illusion of looking up at tall structure like a skyscraper

I was having one of those 'Let's go a bit mad with masking and throw in a bunch of textures' moments, hehe. I need to keep practising all these things as I'm starting the final online UF class in a few days which will probably stretch my skills to the limit!
