Artist's Comments

A reminder of warmer times to come and a celebration of one of the marvels of Mother Nature.

Crafted entirely within Ultra Fractal 5.01. Best viewed full size, for the details!

Captain's log, supplemental: As a few people have queried how many layers this took... the answer is: 48. ;)

We all need more time so to anyone who may 'fave and run' on this piece or any other: thank you in advance. :aww:

Lovely evocation of early spring! Nice butterflies and markings, great look of a morning by a lake and the addition of the silhouetted butterflies was a cute touch, bringing more realism to the piece. I especially like the foreground/shore with its perfect feel of earth and mud and new plant life and the way you've integrated the gently-rippling water with the shore. Nicely done, as always!
