Hello there dear friends and watchers!

I thought you might like to know about a new group that has started up:



Now, you might just be wondering why on earth we need yet another group when there are already so many fractal groups around? Well, this one is specifically for users of Ultra Fractal and is an attempt to revive the idea of the old #Ultra-Fractal group that sadly fell by the wayside and died a few years ago. This was a wonderful group in its day, with lots of active members and some terrific activities that helped to create a real sense of community and fun. It is sorely missed by many. So... with #Ultra-Fractal-Redux we hope to try and revive this feeling by providing a friendly home for UF users where we can all have fun with challenges and activities that will stretch our creative muscles and help us learn even more about the fabulous program we use in our art! To that end we hope to begin with a series of challenges in the near future.

We have just opened up our very first Challenge, details of which can be found in our journal...



There are many things planned for the future (depending of course, on interest and participation), and one of our main aims is to share knowledge about Ultra Fractal between us so that we can all expand our artistic endeavours with the program. We also want the "experts" to help the newbies to learn more about the program - and that of course involves all the members, not relying solely on what the admins may or may not know - indeed, we want to learn too!

Do take a look at this group if you haven't already seen it, and at whatever stage you are at in using UF, this could be a great group for you! It will become what you make of it!
